Showing Love for the Arts through Chuco Relic

Andy @andrew_elpaso_art has been at Chuco Relic for three and a half years and is considered Chuco's MVP. Andy’s ability to find nothing but pride when throwing himself into his work is what makes him one of the best staff members. His loyalty to the company and his friends/coworkers never leaves as he believes loyalty and friendship are the most valued traits a person can have. Andy did not join the team blindly, he applied with a long history in art and a lengthy involvement with the art community in El Paso. “I love working with artists, and promoting their work. A couple of years ago there were very few options to sell your work in town. It’s great to see the art scene grow in El Paso.” Andy’s previous art background helps because he not only shares a strong relationship with every artist that works with us, but he too is an artist with his work at Chuco Relic. His dream in life is to pursue Comic Book Artistry. His attempt at mimicking his favorite artists was where he developed his technique with pen and ink. Andy first took an interest in journalism while in college but then found that his passion was towards graphic design. He occasionally still dabbles with Comic Book Design. Now involved with the art community differently, we are super lucky to have Andy with us at Chuco Relic. “I see myself hopefully helping expand the company, helping more artists, and working on my graphic design.” When not working, you can find Andy hanging with friends or just doing a casual sketch for his new pieces. ⠀
