Carrying on Tradition with Voting

Analisa and her Grandma Lucy share a special bond that's as timeless as it is heartwarming πŸ™ŒπŸ½. Nestled in North East El Paso along the Easter Parade route, Grandma Lucy's home becomes a hub of festivity during the annual celebration 🐰. In her heyday, she'd host a parade brunch fit for royalty, complete with mimosas, menudo, tamales, ham, and pan dulce 🍹πŸ₯£πŸ©.

A highlight of the event was Grandma Lucy's endorsement, which drew El Paso celebrities out of the parade route to seek her approval. This cherished tradition is one they faithfully uphold year after year, honoring the legacy of their beloved matriarch.

Beyond the festivities, Grandma Lucy imparted invaluable lessons to Analisa, emphasizing the importance of voting πŸ—³οΈ. As a precinct judge for many years, she exposed Analisa to political rallies from a young age, laying the foundation for her granddaughter's civic engagement. Their journey came full circle when Analisa had the privilege of introducing Hillary Clinton at UTEP ⛏️, with Grandma Lucy proudly seated in the front row, a testament to the enduring influence of family and the power of shared values.
