Chelsie's Story
Chuco Relic is a tribute to the vibrant culture and pride of the U.S.-Mexico borderland. Founded by fronteriza Chelsie Evaldi (@chucochingona), who grew up in Juarez, MX, the shop reflects the unique spirit of the El Paso-Juarez region. 🇲🇽🇺🇸 After time spent in Austin, TX, and Ireland, Chelsie returned home with a mission: to showcase the creativity and life of the border.
Before starting Chuco Relic, Chelsie worked with Visit El Paso, promoting the city's attractions, and later, with the support of her husband Carlos, launched the business.
Chuco Relic is more than a souvenir shop—it’s a hub for frontera culture, featuring 90% locally made products and highlighting over 30 local artists. With three locations, it's the go-to spot for locals and visitors to experience the border’s pride and creativity. Each item tells a story of border life and community.
