El Paso born artist, SpaceVolt, has been creating borderland themed marker illustrations since 2017. His art focuses on El Paso & Cd. Juarez landmarks, buildings, businesses and restaurant facades. He uses a strong palette of Primary Colors to show the vibrancy of the local culture. The importance of using three colors is key to helping the viewer understand the significance of one of the most basic Elements of Art.
Besides being an artist, SpaceVolt has a 10 year career as a local Visual Arts educator. He uses his passion for art, his style and his Art Education experience to teach new emerging artists about the importance of creating an original story, finding their own style and the development of the local art scene. ⚡️
