Hay there, and giddy up: El Paso’s largest flea market in town, El Bronco, is open once more. Its iconic giant horse head was sculpted in 1950. It was initially made for the former Bronco Drive-In Theater by the father of renown sculptor Luis Jimenez Jr, who was the creator of El Paso’s downtown “Los Lagartos” sculpture! 🐊 ⠀
⠀
But since 1985, it has headed 🐴the swap meet in Lower Valley El Paso. The swap meet covers about 10 acres, in which you can find a variety of items being sold, from cowboy boots to antiques to furniture. As their website states, “if you can’t find it, you just aren’t looking hard enough!”⠀
